The Transport for Edinburgh app will help you decide where to stay and when to travel. It is free and can be downloaded here (available on iOS and Android).
Unfortunately, the campus hotel is now fully booked.
The campus is situated on the city’s western edge, so accommodation along the 25 Bus route would make for easier travel arrangements (see map).

Staying at Edinburgh Airport
There are a range of hotels to stay at Edinburgh Airport. For more information, see this link.
Please note that there is no direct transport link between Edinburgh Airport and Heriot-Watt University campus. Those who wish to stay at an airport hotel will need to either:
- Get a taxi to the campus (travel time = 8mins)
- Take the tram to Edinburgh Park Station and then bus 63 from Hermiston Gait (1min walk from Edinburgh Park Station) (travel time = 32mins). Please be sure to check the service times for this route.
Attendees should also note that the Conference Dinner on 11th July in the Surgeon’s Quarter is located in Edinburgh City centre (red dot in map below).
